So, I have been trying sense 20[phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service], to try to contact someone from Verizon about the inhumane way they treated me during and after the covid, NATURAL DISASTER. During covid I was laid off, not able to work, Verizon happily told me not to worry about it they would forgive me sense it was a "Natural disaster" . I ended up catching the 1st strain of covid myself and it took me almost 2-3 months to recover. Verizon reassured me to let me know that everything was going to be okay. And they understood that I was going through a lot right now and not to worry about anything. I would have turned my phone off if I had known that as soon as the pandemic stopped and everything went back to normal they were going to make me pay for all of that time, that I was sick and laid off all that time, that they told me that everything was going to be okay, that they understood that I was going through a lot if I knew that when they told me that that only meant that I had to pay them. Back instantly after the pandemic was over. I would have canceled my account and turned my phones in, but no, they didn't tell me that instead they just hit me with a bill of $1500 and I had no way to pay it back because I was still laid off, just because the pandemic was over didn't mean I was able to. Get my job back. COVID ruined me. The company I was working for ended up shutting down. I was in a hospital for 2 and a half months, and yet somehow verizon expected me to pay them everything with no mercy at all. Now, on my credit, I have one collections that is on my account. One closed account on my credit and that one account is Verizon. Because know how many times I try to contact them and get them to forgive my debt because of the national disaster. I can't get anyone to actually give me a clear answer. They just put me on, hold forever. Until I hang up, I have disputed the claim so many times stupid and I am at a point where I don't know what to do
