I have been on chats where I was handed off to 10 different team members. I have been on hours of tech support calls, and sometimes it's a miracle I can even get past the robots.
I cannot get a PIN for my landline from Verizon that works for porting to a VOIP service, specifically AXVoice. After days and days of frustration (don't bother going to Verizon brick and mortar locations - complete and utter waste of time) I finally spoke to a woman from a Verizon corp location in Boston, MA. She totally sounded like she was 'the goods', and I had every confidence it would work this time. This was the third PIN Verizon told me would work. This one was rejected too.
STILL NO GOOD. Verizon also told me 'last 4 of my SS#'. Nope.
The clock is ticking and I need to get this done before my number goes dark. It's not the end of the world if I can't port it over, but I've had the number for about 10 years and a lot of friends. businesses and vendors have it.
I have read another discussion about this, and the comments were helpful, but what I really liked was Verizon chiming in at the end, saying they would send a private message.
I NEED HELP getting this done. PLEASE!
