Hello community,
I am in the need of your knowledge. I am travelling to the US with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Prime and I red that I can have problems to connect due the ban. Is that true? If true, will I be able to connect at all?
Thanks for your time and cooperation 😄
Juli.

Hi, if you are visiting the US, your phone will go into roaming mode so long as you have that enabled, and using your phone would be considered international usage, which you'd have to check with your carrier on how they handle.
If you are wanting to buy service from a US mobile carrier to use on your Xiaomi phone, I'd have to think every large US carrier has a compatibility checker on their website where you can run your phone's IMEI and it will tell you if the phone will work on that carrier's network. For Verizon, it is this link:
https://www.verizon.com/sales/nextgen/byod.html
The other large mobile carriers in the US are AT&T and T-Mobile. I don't want to post links for them here, but you can use a search engine to find their websites and whatever compatibility checkers they have.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

We hope you have safe travels. You can check your device compatibility with the Verizon network on the website provided: https://www.verizon.com/sales/nextgen/byod.html
