If you hook up a USB cable between your phone and the PC, and answer the prompts on the phone and computer to allow the shared connection, then you can open up a window on the PC to display all the folders in the phone.  I haven't had to do it much, but photos and screenshots are pretty easy to find in the phone folders.  Text documents and messages I'm not that clear on as phone software is different, so Windows may not open SMS or MMS texts for example.

Anyway, you can then copy specific items or folders to the PC, or if they are pictures, can move them off the phone folders to the PC.  Don't move the whole phone system folders completely to the PC or the phone will be broken.

Hello delmarcy. This all depends on the device you're using. Android does not have a way to do this, you would use a cloud service to save all that information. The same can be done on iPhone, and you can also connect your iPhone and use iTunes to sync the data. Then you can connect the other phone to the pc and it will then transfer. ~Peter
