The DTMF Tones have stopped working when I call certain locations. I have other Verizon customers that have complained of the same issue when they call the same facility. HELP

Is this a landline? Especially if it's an old-school copper wire landline, phone companies are moving away from that technology.

Thanks for reaching out to us about DTMF Tones not working. We'll be happy to take a look with you. If this is not happening with all locations you call, it may be an issue on the receivers end. If it is happening to all locations you call I'd recommend first ensuring that your software is up to date on your device. If you need assistance with steps on how to find this, please let us know.

I thought DTMF tones are the "beeps" heard when a touch-tone phone's buttons are pressed? Landline phones don't have any software to update. If no sounds are heard only when a certain number is dialed, then I do have to agree with you that it is likely a problem with the recipient's phone number.
