I have a galaxy S24 plus and Galaxy watch 6. Since the last software update remote connect is not working. Done everything with Samsung support even taking both to service center. No problem with my devices.
Since this remote connect is currently not working my number share should send calls and text messages to my watch and my watch should be able call and text.
Well the only thing that works is the phone calls. Text messages will not send and will not receive. This is not acceptable and now the monthly rates are increasing for number share. Can someone please help ?

It has to be a bug with the update. Samsung service center told me to wait till next update and hopefully it will be fixed

Hello, lorri4612, being able to communicate using both your phone and watch is crucial. You mentioned this happened after a recent software update. Which device was recently updated? As far as the issue with messaging, what happens when trying to send a text?

It was the android security patch level may 1 2024 on my galaxy S24 plus.
Remote connect still not working. Called Verizon and they reset and tested my line number whatever that is. Now with number share I can receive and make calls. I also can send and receive texts. Only problem is my galaxy watch 6 will not make a sound or vibrate when I receive text messages on Google messages. It will sound and vibrate for calls. When connected with Bluetooth it will sound and vibrate for calls and texts.
The main issue is still remote connection not working. Why have a LTE watch and this is broken.

Thank you for keeping us in the loop, lorri4612. We're glad to hear that you're now able to make and receive calls and send/receive texts from your Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. However, we're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with sound/vibrate notifications on your smartwatch.
To clarify, is your phone software also fully up to date? What other troubleshooting have you attempted? Has the Galaxy Wearable app on your Galaxy S24+ been reset? https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-306176/

My phone software is up to date. Also I have reset the wearable app and even reset WiFi and Bluetooth. I have no idea what else to do.

I'm using Google messages on both watch and phone. I will receive the new message on the watch but the watch will not notify me by sound, vibrate or the orange dot. All notifications are turned on. This is using number share.
Remote connection is turned on with the wearable app but is not currently working since the last forced update.

Yes the watch has been reset several times including the wearable app, and Bluetooth and WiFi. Went as far as taking both to the service center recommended by Samsung support and the service center said that both my watch and phone do not have any problems
