Home Phone Connect

Verizon is suggesting Home Phone Connect for us.  Do we need a strong cell signal for this to work?  we do not have one, but it is working for our neighbors.

It depends on if you were being told to get an LVP2 device to hook up a landline phone to, or if you were told to get Fios Home Phone service.  If you are using an LVP2, then you do need a good wireless signal as the LVP2 is running off the cell phone towers.  Fios service is fiber optic based, doesn't use the cell phone towers.

Our Home Phone Connect is service that works on Verizon Wireless network. Home Phone Connect is designed to operate anywhere within the Verizon Wireless coverage area (much like a cellular phone).
