Lack of Signal

Since moving to our new address we do not have service at all - sometimes we get 1 bar but the calls always drop when we do. It doesn't appear that the closest verizon tower covers our address. Is there a way to remedy this issue?

I'm assuming your service was OK at your old address, just doesn't work in your new one, and nothing was changed otherwise.  If so, you may very well simply be in a dead zone now.  Dead zones happen for all sorts of reasons; short of waiting for Verizon to get more network resources in to fix the problem (which who knows how long that'll take) you can:

-Try getting a Verizon LTE network extender

-Invest in an (expensive) 3rd party signal booster system

-Use WiFi while at home

-Ask the neighbors who they use and switch providers if someone else works better

I know how important it is to have service at home, and congrats on the new place, altidwell! SynthpopAddict did offer some great advice, and there are a number of factors outside our control that can impact indoor coverage, even when it may have been working before. The great news is that we offer Wi-Fi calling at no cost to help improve your coverage indoors. Here's some more information about Wi-Fi calling, including how to set it up: https://verizon.com/support/wifi-calling-faqs/

Wi-Fi calling does the same job as a network extender, without the additional equipment, and often has better range since it's related to your Wi-Fi network range.

Let me know if this helps.
