My home is a Dead Zone - Vancouver WA (98682)

Hello,

Can anyone help me figure out how to report that I need boosted services? Our home is a complete dead zone except for a very small area in the middle of the kitchen. We can only send pictures to fellow iPhone users, and calls are either dropped, can't be completed at all, or our voices sound like robot static.
We had an incident recently where we were trying to get ahold of police and the call repeated dropped or they couldn’t understand me. At the time it was literally a life or death situation due to overdose, and we couldn’t get the help we desperately needed.

Please please help us! We have been with Verizon since 2007/2008 and would love to continue as customers, but are desperate at this very time. Any suggestions would be helpful, we already have WiFi calling setup, but that has done nothing to help the situation. Dealing with this with no support for over 5 years now.

Five years is a very long time to be dealing with service issues. The only ways I can think of to fix the problems you're having are:

-Verizon needs to build more towers in your area and/or upgrade the ones in existence (who knows when/if this will happen)

-Install a cell phone signal booster system in your home (expensive)

-Switch carriers

Considering you had an emergency situation recently and had such trouble with calls, I'd suggest the last option...

Thank you so much. We will definitely start looking into carriers that service our area better and possibly the booster too.

You're welcome. That's really too bad that Verizon's service has been so poor for you in recent years, but I think you've given them enough of a chance. Try asking your neighbors who they use, and maybe check cellmapper.net for where the towers for the different carriers are located in your area, along with estimates of signal strength.
