Verizon Network Service

I also, couldn't find a place to leave a review and saw others posting here . Very frustrated and basically fed up at this point with Verizon Service.  After being a loyal Verizon customer for over 20 years, I think it’s finally time for me to try something new. What would truly be impressive more than any promotion or marketing campaign is if Verizon simply delivered on the basics: reliable calls, texts, and data. Unfortunately, even those fundamental services have become increasingly inconsistent. It’s frustrating to pay premium prices and still deal with dropped calls, delayed messages, and a data plan that moves slower than a tortoise.

Why should I be paying more now for the same service I signed up for two decades ago back when Verizon’s motto was “Can you hear me now?” At least back then, they delivered on their promise of uninterrupted service. Today, I’m letting saying Hello can you hear me? Hello are you still there? before I realized that the call was dropped mins prior; So I'm getting calls that don’t come through, texts that arrive hours late, and data speeds that feel stuck in 2005.

On top of that, whenever I call customer service, I spend the first 10 minutes just trying to get the representative to understand how to spell my name. The next 15 minutes are usually spent fending off aggressive sales pitches trying to get me to switch from my grandfathered-in plan. Then, I waste another 10 minutes reiterating that NO, I’m not going to pay even $1 more. By the 45 minute mark, I’m frustrated, exhausted, and still not any closer to a solution. The usual resolution? A half-hearted signal boost sent to my phone which temporarily helps, but only after I’ve already missed over 30 calls in the past few months.

Meanwhile, I keep getting emails and text ads urging me to “Get in the 5G lane,” and letters from the Consumer CEO promising a “faster, easier, smarter” experience built around me. All I can say is: actions speak louder than marketing copy.

Unless something changes fast, I’ll be getting into the 5 G lane as I'm moving all four of my lines to a competitor who actually delivers what they advertise.

By the way the topic selection is limited there is nothing wrong with my iPhone; there should be a topic selection for "Verizon Network Service".

If you've got an iPhone but an old plan which doesn't have 5G service, then it's like trying to find Michelin star-rated cuisine in a fast food restaurant.  With 4G service on 4G cells becoming less common, it's probably hard for your phone to find a tower to work with.  I'd at least upgrade to a plan with some kind of 5G service.  The competition charges in about the same range as Verizon for postpaid service, unless you're thinking of switching to a discount carrier.  But cell phone service is like many other things in life: you usually get what you pay for.
