Deadwood, SD......We receive 3.5 million visitors a year......The cell service is almost non-existent. We are 13 miles from the Sturgis Rally and have a 800 vintage car show next week....but no matter the summer week day or weekend, you can't hardly call out, texting a picture is almost impossible. This has been going on for years and Verizon can't figure it out. We even have a tower right here in town but it is not designed for the amount of traffic we have. If I go 3 miles to Lead, SD the signal is perfect most of the time.
I hope that someone's life is lost due to not being able to call out for help. This is ridiculous. I can see the tower from my office and I am lucky to have 1 bar almost the entire day.
Come on Verizon, figure it out.
