I switched from T-mobile to Verizon and did the bring your own device. I have an iPhone 14 and am trying to port in my number. Is says it has been completed when I check the status. But I can’t seem to get my eSIM activated. I was printed and hit “activate” and it looked like it was going to work but nothing. Now the T-Mobile service and sim is gone but I have no service. Please help!

Hi Jbecker_01. Yes, let's get you activated and connected ASAP. In addition to turning your phone off and back on, any other troubleshooting shooting completed? Please reply to the following private message, and we will get into the troubleshooting the Verizon service and phone activation.

I have power cycled my phone several times. I went to the store, but it was independently operated so they didn’t help me….i checked the status and it says the port has been completed but nothing.

I have been searching all over the internet, and since it hasn’t activated I can’t even call Verizon support. It says call failed every time

Hi again, the VZW CS account is posted to by random CS reps...they're all using the same account but it's a different person at different times. It sounds like someone sent you a private message (PM) though - which you can view if you click on the envelope at the top right of the forum page. From there, it works like email.
You mentioned when you checked your phone (did you run the IMEI on Verizon's website?) it came up as OK before you did the port in, and that T-Mobile released your number. So this sounds like a provisioning or syncing issue, where someone from Verizon will have to tweak stuff around on their end. If you can borrow someone else's phone, call the Porting Department number I'd posted earlier. Doing the live chat thing may or may not work.

Yes I did the IMEI check and all good. I didn’t receive a PM so I will have to call from someone else’s phone if I get the chance. Thanks

Sorry to hear about your phone being stuck in la-la land. I'm guessing you've been doing the My Verizon app thing and it's not working, or the BYOD webpage thing with the eSIM activation instructions and something's gone awry. Have you tried calling Verizon's Porting Department at 888.844.7095? It's probably a provisioning issue. Unless...your phone is locked to T-Mobile's network? If you have a carrier phone from elsewhere, your old carrier has to unlock it first before it'll work.

Yea I did the porting thing through T-Mobile and they released my number. I checked with Verizon as I was signing up for a new plan and it said everything was good to go with my number and device. I can check the status of the porting process and it says completed. But that is exactly where I am now, in LA LA land!
