Forgot my LG cosmos 2 phone

Hello, so I have recently found my old LG Cosmos 2 phone and have forgotten the PIN to it and I have forgotten the phone number to it too and I do not think there is an active SIM card in it because it will not let me call anyone. I have tried the "*228" trick but it doesn't work. Please help me.

The Cosmos 2 is a 2G phone, dating back to 2011.  All carriers have shut off 2G, so this phone will no longer work with any carrier.

A screen lock pin code is set by the user and only the user has access. No one can help you remove that PIN code.

As noted, that is a 2G phone. It has no phone number.  it has no service. At some point you likely would have upgraded that phone to something newer and moved your phone number from that phone to a newer phone.

US service providers have shut down all 2G and 3G service. Minimum service is LTE.

Hi Ben,

If you’ve forgotten the PIN for your LG Cosmos 2, the best option might be a factory reset, though this will erase all data on the phone.
