On the front screen (with the phone closed), at the bottom right corner of the screen an icon just appeared. That icon is not shown anywhere in the manual. Please refer to the below photo. I have seen other icons appearing on this outer screen that have not been referenced in the manual as well. Is there a listing of these icons and their meaning somewhere?

I don't know what that is either, but with it looking like an "X", maybe it's to shut off the small outside screen? Kyocera no longer makes phones, so there may or may not be answers elsewhere on the internet.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Hello williamdjudy, we understand the importance of having access to a glossary listing all the unknown Kyocera Duraxv icons. Please visit https://www.manualslib.com/manual/911393/Kyocera-Duraxa.html?page=20#manual pages 19-22 for a more in depth icon description.

You must be an Ai? Did you even look at his picture of the Icon before sending him on a wild goose hunt in no gooseville? It's the PTT icon, and it means not connected, . The more you know, Now you know.

It's the PTT icon, it means it not on/connected. You must have looked around in the business settings and hit the ptt button and said no to connecting as I did, that's how I found out what it was.. Restart the phone gets rid of it.
