No access to voicemail

After setting up Kyocera duraxv extreme, a caller can't leave a voice message. When I try to access my voicemail, robot says inbox is full when it is empty. In settings I hit the button that says clear old messages, but it does not work. Please advise.

Here's what fixed the problem for me: in voicemail settings, toggle visual voicemail off, then toggle it back on. Voila.
