When I purchased the Kyrocera E4811 phone, it was a bit difficult to connect with Uconnect on my Chrysler 300 C. Finally I did get it to and all features messaging and such came in. Then one day the messaging goes away, It does drift in and out. and I cannot get incoming phone calls. But yet some do come in.One came in when they redialed me, I picked up on the incoming call, And some out of area calls do come in. But mostly I have to hang up on them and then call them back to return the call. It really is silly to have to do this as I have an elderly mother that calls me when she needs me and it could be simple or an emergency. Any thoughts? I would really like to get this fixed without buying a new phone. AGAIN>

I did find out what was going on with my phone above the duramax Kyrocera 4811. the loss of text recieving and the inability of recieving an initial phone call are related to an up date that was done to address some security issues. However, these certain things got left out and there is no plan to put them back in. This renders the phone useless as a hands free device. this means that anyone using it will experience some issues and have to perform some dangerous tasks while driving to be able to answer a phone call. God help them if it were an emergency call from someone. they have to open recent calls, then call them back. And please note that THEY DO NOT INTEND TO PUT THE MISSING PARTS BACK INTO THE PHONES> When I called in for customer service I was hung up on four times. Some service. Kyrocera is the only one who answered my question. Now, I am stuck with a phone that does not suite my needs, and is dangerous to use as a car phone. I am calling the FTC on this one. There is no reason I should have to buy another phone.
