Ready?Go!Package

I was charged $49.99 for the Ready?Go!Package when I purchased a Google Pixel at a Franchise store. I was never told about that this is a franchise fee. I was just told there were taxes and fees. They said "The government is going to get their share". I think this is shady used car salesmen tactics.

Hello, debbiekhurley. Help is here as we can provide clarification. There are indirect, premium retail stores that offer a set up fee when setting up your device. Indirect stores are not direct stores as we do not charge a fee to set up your device. If you received this fee, please visit the store for further assistance as we are unable to provide a credit for this.

It's important you are being billed correctly, jc200. Please tell us more about what's happened. Did you purchase a device in an indirect store location? Have you spoken to the store about the fee?

Same thing happened to me. Got charged for a Ready?Go! package to transfer data from a dead phone (didn't work obviously).Store masquerades as  a Verizon store. Didn't see Wireless Zone until I looked at the bill.
