1X receiving only

My Galaxy S7 only shows 1x in the service bar when an identical S7 sitting next to it shows 4G. I've removed the SIM, turned airplane mode on/off and have mobile network set to LTR/CDMA. Is in there something I need to change. With the 1x setting it sometimes takes day to send text.

Does this happen wherever you are? If so, the phone antenna could be bad.

Having the ability to get the best available connection wherever you are is a must. on. We appreciate the troubleshooting you've done so far, but let's keep digging so that we can find out what's going on. When did you begin having this trouble? What changes(new software, applications, etc.) were made to the phone before this happened? Any trouble making calls?
