A better brightness adjustment?

Has anyone found a better way to adjust the screen brightness?  I don't care for the automatic brightness adjustment and would like a button that I can just tap on when Im outside and get full brightness, without having to go into the menu settings and search for it.  Maybe there is a simple app for that?

The stock android widget called power control has that option. Menu button > + add > widget > scroll down to power control. You will need a 1x4 space on the home screen for it. Otherwise there are some Apps on the Market that can do what you are asking. I use one called brightness profiles. It has a blue icon with the brightness symbol in it.

Thanks Ann,

I found the power control widget and it works good though it takes up a little more space on the screen than I would like.  I downloaded the "Brightness Profile" app you suggested but I couldn't get it to work on my Fascinate.  Which phone do you have it installed on?  I also tried these: Brightness Level, Brightness Control, and Brightness Widget, but couldn't get any of those to work either.  All the control adjustment features would work showing that I was increasing or decreasing the brightness however none of them affected the actual brightness.  I noticed that a few others claimed not to work with Samsung phones so I guess I'll just stay with the power widget.  Anyone else found one they like?

Yeah, I didn't super care for the power control widget because of its size. I have learned to like it after moving away from the HTC Sense UI on my DROID ERIS. Sorry you couldn't get the other app to work. If I get a chance this weekend, I try a stop in a store and try that app on a different Samsung Galaxy S phone. Maybe I can see how it didn't work.
