AT&T beat Verizon with Update

Once again, AT&T and Sprint have beat Verizon with releasing Android 9.0 for Galaxy S8.

Very disappointing Verizon to be so slow with this update! I guess you are too involved with 5G rather than getting updates out. Put the 5G to the side as it is only going to be in about 5 major cities across the US and as slow as you are for putting out updates, it'll be years before you get 5G out across the US.

It's bad on Verizon to be a number one carrier and be so slow with all of thier updates no matter which phone brand.

Doesn't matter if it's 6 months old or 2 years old, when an update is available get it out to your customers and quit holding on to it for 3 or more weeks.

Don’t know what you’re talking about.  AT&T S8 is still on android 8 and 9/‘pie’ is not yet released for the S8.

The S9 (and all 9 series) is actively getting the android 9 update as of March 5th.

AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile released 9.0 this week for the Galaxy S8's. According to Samsung all carriers should have released it by the end March. Releasing Monday in Canada 4-1-19.
