Activating a new Galaxy S 4

For Christmas we presented my son with a new Galaxy S4.  I am attempting to activate the phone and I get an error message in the Set Up Wizard that says "Sorry we can not activate your phone now"  I have full signal strength and need some assistance in order to continue.

Wow! That was a great Christmas present from your son, vkpartking! I would love to assist you with getting your new phone activated. To activate your power off the phone and then pull out the sim card. Place the sim card back into the phone and power it back up and try it again. If that does not work, sign into your My Verizon account and enter in the device information. http://vz.to/1btY7xN Once you manually input the IMEI and sim card number on you line through My Verizon you will be able to just power the phone on and successfully go through the set up.
