After The lollipop Update I can't connect to the wifi at work.

I a AP currently not in use . Internet connection slow. but i'm in full range of the wifi.

GLCOLON,  Let's get your device connecting to WiFI again! Is your phone able to connect to any WiFi networks since the update? Have you attempted to select "forget" this network and re-establish the connection? Please share a few more details. Visit the Advanced Wi-Fi settings and toggle the "Smart Network Switch" option on and then back off. This option sometimes breaks after an OS upgrade and is oftentimes quite buggy, even on solid Enterprise networks.

I might recommend clearing the cache via the recovery ROM in the device. Hold down volume up, home and power, releasing the power button when you see the blue "RECOVERY BOOTING" in the upper left corner, and maintaining the volume up and home buttons until you see the android icon with a menu on the top of the device display. Highlight "clear cache partition" with the volume rocker, and use the power button to select the option. The recovery ROM will clear the cache from the device, leaving your personal data fully intact. When it completes, push the power button again to reboot the device, and see if that helps with any of the troubles you're having.

I generally do this myself following any large maintenance release, including full OS/kernel changes being pushed. After this is done, it can take up to 72 hours for the OS and all of your applications to optimize, but it corrects a large array of issues that can occur due to corruption of the device cache following updates.

I am having the same issues with wi fi.  Tried all of the above and still can not connect.

I also have the hot phone and quick drain battery issue, along with a few other problems.  My phone gets so hot sometimes it is uncomfortable to hold.  After countless calls to tech support I was sent a replacement phone.  Preparing to swap phones tonight.  Im disappointed with the S5, it was marketed as the latest, greatest but Ive had nothing but issues with mine.

I want to make sure you can enjoy using your S5 again, acrftyone. There was a recent update that was released to address these issues. Have you had the chance to update? If you are unsure, please go to Settings>About Phone and provide the build number.

Thanks for trying that! Is the issue only with the wifi connection at work? Are you able to connect to other wifi? What happens when you try connecting to wifi? Are you able to turn wifi on/off on your phone?
