After Verizon update, camera app and any app that uses the camera (ex. Snapchat) crashes my phone, power cycles 3 times, and then I am able to use phone again. This is infuriating...

Very very upset. I bought the note 4 for business reasons, and I always have to be connected. If I open my camera it will crash the entire phone! The phone will power cycle 3 times and then, after that mess I will be able to use the phone... WHAT DO I DO?! My company is starting to get very mad because I can not take picture of stuff that clients need... This phone may just get me fired.

This would definitely have me just as frustrated, patar1441. Seeing as your Note 4 is a business tool, it is very important that we get it working. We also do not want to see you

get fired.

Did your phone ever work correctly when accessing the camera? Do you recall if this issue started specifically after the OS update, or if there were any additional Apps that may have updated afterwards. Just in case, here are two steps I recommend trying to see if we can get your camera working optimally once again:

My phone had never had an issue with the camera... This problem started after getting the Verizon Update that was pushed OTA about a week ago. I am currently on Android 5.0.1.

I have wiped the chache partition, but that just put my phone on a reboot loop... (kept rebooting and I couldnt intercept, so after the 11th reboot I just took the battery out; to stop the loop) This also causes the phone to become very very hot....

I have tried putting the phone in safe mode, but this just makes the phone reboot and just starts the incessant loop!

We definitely want your device and all of its functions working normally. Let's delve in a little but deeper to get this resolved. Please access your device Settings>Applications>Application Manager> then scroll right to left to view All apps versus Downloaded then scroll down to your Camera app and clear data. Then try relaunching the Camera application to see if it'll work properly. If the issue still persists or the phone continues to loop, please then perform a Cloud backup of your device while on wifi and once completed proceed with a factory reset of your device via the following steps: http://vz.to/1Mn6JNl .
