I'm having a $%^& of a time with Verizon - I've been trying to upgrade my son's line with an old Galaxy S6 to a new S10+. I paid Verizon 400.00 for.a 'Great' refurb s10+ - they sent it - it was missing the sim card tray - so I had to send it back. I'm still waiting on a refund.
I've since bought a new S10+ unlocked off eBay and received a new SIM card from Verizon (ID on phone and SIM Order match exactly) - and shipped all that over to my son for activation and setup. He has tried to activate it - and as expected - It failed.
The new phone works just fine with his old Sim card - can he simply just use that sim and forget about the new sim - or should he go to a Verizon store and hope the service there would be better than we have received on line which has been the worse service imaginable.
Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can use the previously activated SIM card in the new phone.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
