Anyone haveing issues using maps with Galaxy S4 in car dock?

I recently switched from a Droid Razr Maxx to the Samsung Galaxy S4.  I purchased the car dock for the new phone because I used my Razr everyday when I drive to work to look for traffic jams and avoid sitting in traffic.  At first, I did not find the Car Dock application on the Galaxy S4 so I downloaded the Car Home Ultra app from the Google Play.  When using Maps through the Car Home Ultra the screen dims after 30 seconds then timesout after a minute.  My display timeout is 1 minute but it I never had this issue with the Razr.  When using Maps or Navigation while in the car dock the screen display never timed out as long as the device was plugged into a power source.  I did notice that the display did remain on when it was on the car dock home page, but not when I selected one of the apps from the home page.

Congrats on your new purchase! I love my S4! It may be the application that's causing the issue. I would recommend emailing the developer. Please make sure stay awake is checked and retest. Menu>Setting>More>Developer options.

I've been fighting with mine for a while now.  When I dock it in an iBolt dock, it switches to dock mode, then back out again to the desktop - but only if the dock is plugged into power...

If the dock is unplugged, it works perfectly every time.  It is really starting to bug me.

I brought it in to the local Verizon store, and got one of the employees S4 to do the same thing.  They just shrugged and sent me on my way, because they don't sell that dock in the store anymore.  I have Automateit Pro and CarHome Ultra installed, the employee was running default - same issue.  With Automateit, I could at least see that the phone sees itself dock, then undock right away.

I'm still searching for an answer.
