Anyone know why my phone keeps resetting itself?

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge at the end of June. Since then, it has twice done a full factory reset, losing a lot of data, and once just did a soft reset. I'm about to take it to the Verizon store to see if this a known issue and/or if I should do an insurance claim. This last time, I lost some important data and I can't rely on this phone anymore. However, I haven't seen anyone else having this issue in any of my brief searches. Anyone else having their phone reset for no reason?

Having a device that works is important, rosesrred419. There are no reported issues of unintentional factory data resets. Have you run a Device Health check? http://vz.to/1o3IJGS This can help identify applications that may be causing your Samsung S7 Edge to misbehave.
You may also want to run your phone in Safe Mode. http://vz.to/2cFhrCl What this does is it disables your applications so we can determine whether it is an application or a hardware issue that is causing this to happen.
