Ever since this horrid Marshallow update was forced onto my phone, I've had issues with my apps stopping their connection to either wi-fi or data network in mid use. If I attempt to refresh a feed or click on a link, I get an error message saying it is not connected to the network even though I was just using it. I am forced to either close out or force stop the app and reopen it just to keep using it.
This has only happened since the update. I have updated all the apps, I have run the device in safe mode, I wiped the cache partition, and I even did a factory reset. None of this has helped. I even tried to use the Repair Tool device as recommended by Verizon, however, the program repeatedly failed to work and nearly wiped out the backed up data on my phone.
I need to know how this is going to be fixed as my phone is hardly useable in this condition. I did not want Marshmallow at all, but Verizon is complicit in forcing it on me. Verizon tties to claim these are not "known issues." I guess they ignore the repeated complaints here, on Twitter and on Facebook. What on earth are we supposed to do with this garbage?
