Are there any font apps that I can download and actually work to change the font on my phone?
This is for an S6 with Android 7.0; should be similar for an S6 Edge Plus:
Settings > Display > Screen Zoom and Font > scroll down to Font Style and select your preference

I thought the Samsung phones already has various font options.
There's also the ability to apply different themes.
No they don't or I can't find em if they do
