When I am texting, my phone automaticaly replaces words it thinks are mispelled. How can I turn off the auto replacment but still have it suggest replacment words.
Many times it replaces words that are not misspelled, especially names of people.
I have had some trouble with this. Apparently while using Swype, proof reading is serious business! LOL So I have been using the swype keyboard and it has been adding in words it shouldn't and words that do not make sense. I am thinking baout trying hte android keyboard for a while to test this. Good luck.
I would be more than happy to find a way to turn the auto correction setting off, or perhaps change the setting to where it only suggests. I need to know what Make and Model phone you have.
