Backup Assistant Plus

I just got my Samsung G3 and my backup assistant plus is failing to sync - errorcode:5.  Is there a setting I need to change so that it will sync?

Hi syfert4! Lets get it to work. Try this:

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Backup Assistant>Clear Data>Force Stop.   

If this does not help with the error I would next advise a master reset on the phone.  You can take these steps to do that: From the main screen>touch menu tab>Touch Settings>Touch Privacy>Touch>Factory Data reset>Touch Reset Phone>Touch Erase Everything."

Please make sure that the device is backed up to a PC before the Master Reset, to make sure that no important information is deleted.   

You can then re-download Backup Assistant and view the contacts at http://www.vzw.com/backupassistant
