While there is not a removable battery in the S7 Edge, can it be
replaced by a technician if it should fail so you don't have to
replace the entire phone? 2-What is the expected life of a normal
battery for the S7 Edge given average usage?
Contact Samsung directly for your repair options.
The battery should last for years.

I understand your concerns with getting a device with a non-removable battery. We don't have technicians in-store that can remove the battery from the device.
