We purchased a Galaxy S7 phone during this promotion, and filed for the free Gear VR/Oculous promo within the timeframes advertised to us in the offer. Purchase was during Thanksgiving weekend. We received a status message that on 12/27/2016 a FedEx Shipping Label had been created. As of 01/27/2017, a month later, that remains the status of our order, "FedEx Shipping Label Created". We bought this phone because my spouse wanted the Gear VR, now we are in limbo land. Oh, we could go back to the store and pay $ 99.99 and get one today, but why can't we get the free one from Samsung. Fraudulent promotion at best. Buyers Beware ! Fool me once, shame on you ... A $ 100.00 Samsung Gift Card that we can't use to obtain a Gear VR is totally useless. And, don't get me started about the $ 50.00 Oculous bonus certificate that is also useless.
I know how eager you are to receive your free Gear VR, Network_Maniac. That is quite a long time for a tracking number to be active without any new information. Let's see what we can do to help. So I can best assist please respond to the private message I have sent you.
