Thank you to the community members for your input. I would like to provide you with more information about our Call and Message Block Feature. Call and Message Blocking is free feature that allows you to block unwanted calls and messages from five specific numbers for 90 days. Please follow the instructions below to complete your request:
Sign in to My Verizon.
Locate the I Want To... section.
In the PLAN column, click Block Calls & Messages.
Select appropriate MDN fromBlock Details for drop-down (if applicable).
Enter in telephone number.
Check off "Apply these settings to all eligible lines" box (if applicable).
ClickApply button.

you would need an app, or something similar to youmail, maybe even google voice

If you have a My Verizon account (free) you can do it there. You can block numbers for ninety days at a time.
