Blocking spam

I am getting spammed by lots of email from the "eku.edu" domain.  I have blocked the domain in my email settings but lots of spam still gets through.  Any ideas how to stop the spam?

I know the feeling of getting spam messages. Let's try and find a solution for you. If you open the message does it give you an option to unsubsribe at the bottom of the email? Usually, those type of messages allow you to discontinue receiving updates. Please advise we are here to help.

Hello –

Sadly the emails have no option to unsubscribe from the spam.  Each day I receive 25+ emails from different addresses from the “eku.edu” domain.  I have tried blocking all *@eku.edu messages from my Galaxy phone but the emails still come through.  (On my phone I go to Email, settings, spam addresses, *@eku.edu)  Why doesn’t the filter work on my Galaxy?

Thank you for all of your efforts. We will work this out together not to worry. If you open one of the emails and goto the bottom do you see an options to unsubsribe. Also, there may be a phone number or a website that you can go to and stop enrollment. Keep us updated on your progress we are here to help.

Beginning roughly around Nov. 1st, 2015, each day I've been getting 20 or more junk mail messages from @eku.edu and other domains such as:

Qi2gzoq@UbKlABw.accinal.com  or vveKMCE@TeA2S1J.ejeweling.com   or VhiYEQ5@KkZ0C8w.accinal.com

.  My desktop computer e-Mail software easily recognizes them as spam based on content and e-Mail address, but not my cell telephone.  Verizon lets you block 15 specific e-Mail addresses, but obviously each of these messages masquerades as a different sender, even if there is a frequently recurring @XYZ.com suffix.

Can one use the * as a wild card in the eMail address blocking list?

Can I buy junk mail filtering software for my iPhone5?

I know just how frustrating it is to be overloaded with spam email! Unfortunately, the asterisk cannot be used as a wild card when listing blocked emails. You can certainly search the app store for additional blocking options.
