Is it possible to backup the data in the calendar that is preloaded on the Samsung Fascinate? If so, where would that be done? I hate to input lots of data and then perhaps lose it if I lose my phone.

If you have everything you saved in the calendar as saving to the gmail address, it is saved in the cloud and is accessible from a computer or a different android device once you have signed into you gmail account.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

The phone itself will not have the option to backup your calendar entries that are on the stock calendar. However, as Ann154 stated you can use the Gmail calendar, which will back up on your Gmail account.
