Camera settings not working after Sept 9 security update on S7 edge. When I open the window, it immediately closes before I can do anything. Anyone else?
Sockeblu, let’s get that camera working. Do you get an error message before it closes? Around the time you updated the phone did you download any new applications?

No error message. I tap the settings icon while in the camera. It brings up the settings window, then immediately closes. I can't tap a setting to change it, because it closes too quickly
No additional apps. And something else I forgot to mention, it won't take a picture while recording a video. Something it did when I bought it.
Sockeblu, I need my camera so I can take pictures of my nephew and nieces. We'll do our best to get this working. Please clear the camera cache. Settings>Application>Application manager>Camera app>Clear cache/data and force stop. Let us know how this works.

Did not work. Still has same problem. I can get in to the settings through Settings> Applications> Camera> settings. That is quite a hassle though

This problem definitely needs to come to an end! I'm not giving up as you certainly deserve a faster way to enter your Camera Settings.
Have you been able to power the phone off and back on to see if there is any change? Also, could you attempt to place the device into Safe Mode and test the experience again for me? Here's how to enable Safe Mode on the S7: http://vz.to/29Clz4r
