Hi myline2! Unfortunately, deleted photos cannot be recovered if not backed up to the Verizon Cloud http://vz.to/14QbP0I or Google as indicated by Ann154 (thanks). Consider the Verizon Cloud to keep a safe copy of all your precious memories.

Have you checked your Google+ account to see if the phone automatically backed up the photos?

New phone -Photo backup setting was not on when a photo album (transferred from previous phone) was accidently deleted.  My other photos are NOW backed up.
