Hi,
Your advise would be highly appreciated , i have samsung s4 4G LTE . I am on contract and will be suspending my US service for 6 months
Can i use the Phone with indian Local sim? will it work ?
Verizon customer support told me 4G LTE phones are unlocked by nature , so i dont need to do anything , just insert any other SIM card and it will work fine
I am not sure on it , can some one clarify ?
Also , I see indian SIM card are big in size and Current SIM card is smaller

Indian SIM cards are big in size probably because they have a different set of phones. In order to use your current device you would need a SIM card from the US. Otherwise, you'd have to buy an unlocked device from India and go from there.

Hi ,
Lets forget the size issue , i can trim the SIM and manage .
My main question was Customer support told 4GLTE phones are unlocked by nature , and can be used with other local SIM Cards , is it true ?

The Galaxy S4 should already be factory unlocked for the SIM card and global use.

You will probably need to add a new APN to access the network there correctly.
