I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and Verizon D-Link model DSL-2750B. Neither my phone or my husbands will connect to our Wi-Fi. Anyone have any idea why,it just keeps trying to authenticate but won't connect.
Do other devices connect automatically? Is there a specific error? Do you have MAC address filtering turned on in the router?
Yes I was able to connect outside our house. I have tried it with and without the MAC address filtering turned on but no luck.
Let's ensure we can get you connected to your Wi-Fi. How long have you been running into this issue? Did you recently purchase the router? If the network is a saved network I would suggest "forgetting the network" and then attempt to reconnect. YosefT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
I just got new phones for both my husband and myself and doesn't work on either of the. I can get Wi-Fi @ work. The router is new and I have other wireless items that are running fine on it. It is Verizon D-Link DSL 2750B. I have tried setting up the phones with WPS, adding the MAC number directly into the site but nothing seems to work.
I think I have figured out some of the problem but don't know how to fix it. I briefly turned off the WPA2 encrypting and was able to connect, but don't want to run without any security. How do I fix this that I can use our home wi-fi on our phones while still have security?
Have you checked to make sure the phone and router are on the same frequencies?
