Can't make calls after lollipop update

I have the same issue, wireless at home is just fine, and it will make calls as long as I am on wireless connection to my home network. I wish I never upgraded because now my phone is practically useless. I can't make calls even in safe mode. I have tried removing and reseating the SIM card, and ensuring it is in CDMA network mode. NO LUCK! HELP Verizon - you're my only hope.
