I followed the instructions on video, removed batter on my S5, inserted SD card. Applications, Settings, Storage, Mount SD card. No response. All faded. It almost looks like there may be paper under the card in the slot. Could that be?
The battery does not need to be removed for the SD card. Have you put the CD card in the Sim slot?

Okay... There would not be paper in the slot. The sim slot would be labeled and should already have you SIM card installed.

I wasn't aware there were different versions. The second picture looks like my own and you do have to remove the battery to insert the sd card. There isn't paper below it (or at least shouldn't be) but the Sim card is in a slot right below the SD card and you may be seeing it. Just had a SD card go bad and had to install a new one.
