Can't setup Gmail account to sync

Verizon Samsung Fascinate.

Phone got stuck in Recovery after update last week. VZ sent new phone.

ON setup I can't add my Gmail account to sync .'It says login / password don't match.

I have changed password.

I can log in from Phone Browser and on my Computer.

I have done Soft and Hard reset..

I can set phone up on another gmail account..

The main account has all my data and is my main email address...

I have been to level 2 Verizon and level 3 Samsung.

I even went into a Verizon store today and let the Tec try it...

Any Ideas ???

I have a tool that I think will help us in the setup process. The name of this tool is called Captcha. It unlocks Gmail accounts so they can be properly setup on mobile devices.
