I accidentally left my Samsung Fascinate out on the patio last night and of course it rained. I have a rubber cover on the back of the phone and a plastic screen protector on the front but I am just not sure how much water got in there. Does anybody know how to dry out this Samsung Fascinate?
Any help would be appreciated

The old standby method is to remove the cover and battery, dry any visible water and place the phone and battery in a container of dry rice for a day of so. I've never done this so I don't know if it really works.
Along the same lines, my wife is into photography so she has numerous packets of silica gel around. Using this instead of rice should achieve the goal of absorbing the moisture.
Hope you get it to work OK. Just remember if the sticker under the battery has changed your warranty is toast.

I have done the same thing; Best way is pull the battery out, you can blow dry with hair dryer, then stick in a bag of rice and let sit for 72 hours...

Put it in a tub of rice for a day. This should pull a lot of the moisture out.
Do NOT turn it on!
You can also bake it in the oven of the rice method doen not work. Run the oven on the lowest setting (125f) and wrap it in a kitchen towel lightly. keep it in there for about an hour....I did this to an Ipod and a phone with good results...Although the battery on the Ipod was toast!

all the forums i have seen universally say the uncooked rice is the best method. I have had a friend of mine do this (TWICE) once dropping into a toilet and once into a cup of coffee. Both times, it worked (original droid FYI).
they are all correct.....do it for at least 24 hrs and do NOT turn it on until you do this. also be sure to seal the baggie GOOD so it does not absorb the ambient air moisture.

There is a product called the Wet cell phone emergency kit made by DRY-ALL it dries your phone out completely . I am serious my son through my cell phone in our dog bowl and I used this product. My phone has been working great ever since and it was months ago now. I tried rice on a previous phone and it only worked for about a week before the screen went all weird and stopped working completely. I keep a bag of DRY-ALL on hand now just in case.

Thank you so much for the advice. I immediately put it in the rice and that is where it has been since yesterday. Tonight when I get home I am going to try it out and see what happens. I will let you know the results
