Charging phone. Easier way?

So is there a easier way to charge this phone? A accesory or something? This tab does not look so safe. It looks like to would be easy to break off.

Also I am seeing alot of posts online about how these phones have stopped working if got wet or even dropped in pool. I know phone is not water proof it is water resistant but I have seen videos of it going bad after falling in a toilet.

be careful with it & it will serve you well.

i have the same type flap on my gym music lg voyager & i've never broken it off by being careful & that's with repeated charging going back to '08.

imagine, phones failing after being dropped in a pool or toilet, can't these mfg's ever get it right.

Its like this and as Bear pointed out.. take care of your S-5 and it will give ya the years to the end of your contract or past that.. I still have one of my Motorola Razr Max's and it still looks brand New.. And to add what they show on commercials or on Youtube them phones more in likely were giving to the Testers buy either the Manufacture or by something other.. even though dipping it in water might look tempting as the Commercial tend's ta show it's not worth the Risk ruining your phone..

To add I'll look to see if the phone can be Charged Wirelessly on a pad or something there may be cases that allow this.. for the S-5

I believe in order to use a Qi Wireless Charger, you have to purchase a new back and receiving unit that goes inside your device. Then like with the LG G2, you could enjoy wireless charging.

Possibly.. on my Droid Maxx I didn't have to worry on getting a different back Case but I wasn't to enthused with charger I got so I took it back.. But the samsung looks to be a pretty decent charger and it would save one's from pulling that little flap that covers the USB..

The official Samsung QI charging covers for the S5 haven't been released yet. There are some 3rd party adapters that fit under the existing cover. You can find them on Amazon. Both the Samsung covers and 3rd party adapters will charge slower than the original cable and charger setup but you won't have to worry about the plug cover.
