Contact widget????????

Ok So I did this before but can't remember how.  How can you create a contact widget?  Not really sure what that is but I was able to put my husband's contact info and pic on my home sceen where I simply touch his picture and it gives me all options to text, email, etc.  Anyone know how I might have done that?

It's a long press on the touchscreen, then choose shortcuts. Pick Contact and surf over to the particular contact you want.

Thanks ladybell! If you hadn't asked the question, I wouldn't have known about the option. Darn near everyday I'm finding out something new that this phone can do!
