Just downsized my VZW service from a Galaxy S4 mini but still use the device connected to wifi for email and web access. How can I disable/stop the daily backup assistant run?
bdennin72, you can still get the same amazing service on that Samsung Galaxy S4 device. You can disable Verizon Cloud in Settings>Acccounts>Verizon Cloud.

On my S4 mini, under Settings/Accounts I do not have Verizon Cloud. My device shows the following:
Backup Assistant Plus
Amazon
Facebook
Firefox
Google
Messenger
Microsoft Exchange Active Sync
+ Add Account.
If i go to Backup Assistant Plus, there is a line Sync Contacts with a check box, but I cannot uncheck this box. If I tried to remove the check I get "Error Backup Assistant Plus has lost network connection. Please try again.
