I am very disappointed in my replacement phone. My GS4 started resetting itself after the update and Verizon did a factory reset. I still had to get a replacement phone. I was very disappointed when I was sent a certified replacement phone. I spent $300 dollars on my phone and I feel as though when a phone is replaced under the warranty it should be new as well. I understand if you send out a refurbished or replacement phone on a damaged phone. But this phone is a warranty replacement. Not to mention the phone is overheating and the old one didn't.

I understand and appreciate your concern. Our devices go through a 100 point inspection to ensure they're properly up and running. http://vz.to/14s06QW. There is always the option to go directly to the manufacturer. Most find this cumbersome as you will be without a device for 2-3 weeks. Our warranty process provides the convenience of not being without a device while a resolution is provided.
Is the device overheating within a specific app or feature on the phone?

No the phone just overheats. When I first got it I charged it and it overheated. I understand what you explained about the hassel with the manufactor but I didn't purchase my phone through them so I shouldn't have to go to them. Thats Verizons job. I won't argue the issue. I just want it noted thats poor customer service.

Actually, you are wrong.
Your owners manual spells out the replacement process rather specifically. Verizon is a service provider, not the manufacturer. Its like expecting your cable provider to fix your tv just because you bought the tv in their store. If what you wanted were the case your phone would not say Samsung and have the verizon logo. It would say Verizon and have the verizon logo.

Actually you missed the point. No where did I say Verizon wasn't the service provide. Actually that was my point and your example doesn't fit what I was saying. Your response shows poor customer service as well. I specificallly stated I was not gonna argue my point and I just wanted it noted. The only thing you should have responded to was the one thing you did not. Poor Customer Service

Actually I didnt miss the point. You chose to read what you wanted out of my post. And as far as missing the point...you are by saying I provide poor customer service. This is a peer to peer customer forum. Employees are shown by their avatar or signature. I am a customer as well who just so happened to educate you on policy and procedure.
Best wishes.

I am responding from my phone which my signature indicates that. My comment was specific to Verizon no matter what forum it was in. At the point I stated I just wantes it noted that concluded topic. Apparently you are one of those that feel like you have to have an input. So I will reiterate what I said again I wanted it noted. So that you understand the point. Sometimes if you voice your thoughts as a customer the company reevaluates their processes ir checks to see if their are ways to improve their process. They can not do that if they don't know the issues and concerns. I hope you get that and if not oh well. I am not responding anymore..

If the phone is still acting from when you received it using the Box charger that came with it and charging Via the A/C outlet then I'd return it to the Store, See if you can get another replacement.. b33
