Does anyone have a fix for S5 and MyLink? Doesn't allow voice commands, drops connectivity, etc...

Just purchased a GM Vehicle 2016 that has MyLink.  Bluetooth connects (sometimes) but get a message "this device doesn't support voice command"  Activated "S Voice" and if I touch SVoice to activate it, then I can give a voice command, but this requires me to open my phone (which goes against 'hands-free' calling).  GM says it is a phone problem.  Verizon says it is a car problem.  No one has a solution.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the car support Android Auto? You might want to check that option.

Have you tried downloading and setting up the Android Auto application on your phone?

Yes. This has been attempted multiple times and it did not allow voice

commands from the car's talk button. I just had a friend with a s6 try and

it didn't work either. Then had a friend pair with I phone and it worked

right away.
