Dropped calls and no text. Verizon rep says sorry you have no insurance.

Anyone have problems recently with Samsung s4? Everything works on the phone including in house wifi but connection with Verizon is more miss than hit. Which means dropped calls and problems sending out text. I went to the Verizon store on 7600 South in Salt Lake City and all the guy could tell me was sorry you have no insurance on the phone. I want to say the guys name was (removed) but it might as well of been (removed) because he seemed to chuckle that I would go to them for help when I don't have insurance. The problem started about two days ago.

Reading the other post. It seems I might try getting a new Sim card. And there is a good chance that a recent update has messed up my connectivity to Verizon.

I ended up going to the Verizon store at Jordan Landing who were much more willing to help. They ended up switching out the sim card twice. Then they ended up defecting the phone and sending a new one.
Right now the new phone works great. No issues. I'm scared to do the software update and I have just be hitting the back button to exit out of the update software, pop up window. I think I'm going to wait a month so that any bugs in the new update will be worked out by the time I update. I don't want to have to go through this again.
