Duplicate sms restored to phone/on cloud

Hi!

I attempted to use the Verizon software restore program yesterday and it pretty much ruined everything. After finally being able to restore my items from Verizon cloud, I realized it downloaded every text message twice. So now I have two copies of each sent and received text message in the messages program. Short of going through each thread and deleting the duplicates, is there any way to fix this? I don't want to do it individually and then just have cloud duplicate them again.

This is not the experience we want you to have when restoring your data  thehotsinger . I'm sorry the system downloaded your text twice. Do you notice them twice in the cloud application? Is the Cloud app on your phone up to date?

I can't view my messages in the Cloud. I even submitted a ticket via customer service, but have been unable to receive an answer.

When I answered the phone call, it disconnected me. And when I attempted to call back, it wanted the account password. I am not the account admin and don't want my mother in law to have to deal with this.
